About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical panels
- Perform scheduled lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning on manufacturing equipment and vacuum systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery to replace worn parts such as bearings, belts, gears, and seals
- Repair and maintain pneumatic and electrical systems
- Perform minor facility repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a manufacturing mechanic or in a related role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, plumbing, HVAC, and electricity
- Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
