Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize state-of-the-art production equipment to ensure mechanical reliability
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to all safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar mechanical role
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and repairing rotating machinery
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Experience with welding, rigging, and the safe operation of hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills for work order management and communication
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule (approximately 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM)
• Must reside within daily commuting distance of Evansville, Indiana

• Technical education or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or related fields
