Maintenance Mechanic Electrician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Perform electrical maintenance on motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, and VFDs
• Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical specifications
• Fabricate plant items using welders, torches, band saws, and other shop tools
• Maintain plant sanitation and safety standards while supporting reliability initiatives

Requirements

• Valid MN state Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong emphasis in electrical systems
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and equipment specifications
• Skilled in operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
• Experience with electrical controls, relays, and sensors
