Maintenance Mechanic A

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and preventative maintenance on plant and facility equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment including electrical and plumbing systems
• Repair pumps, boilers, steam, water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid systems
• Perform light welding, grinding, and cutting
• Manage wastewater treatment operations
• Participate in the development of preventative maintenance procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• High level of mechanical experience and aptitude
• Experience with welding, electrical, boilers, and refrigeration
• Experience with machinery repair and PLC troubleshooting/programs
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Ability to work swing shifts (alternating 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and 11:00 am - 7:30 pm)
