Maintenance Mechanic 3

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures
• Repair and maintain machinery including die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, and conveyor systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform repairs
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses

Requirements

• Skill in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery
• Advanced knowledge of equipment control bodies to distinguish mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures
• Ability to make precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, and concentricity
• Ability to interpret complex multiview drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of geometry, shop mathematics, and handbook formulas
• Ability to perform precise measurements of air and fluid pressure and flow
