Maintenance Mechanic 3

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of packaging line equipment
• Support packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments to ensure high product quality
• Execute preventive maintenance, changeovers, and Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) activities
• Analyze equipment failures to improve overall reliability and minimize downtime
• Monitor and adjust equipment to meet or exceed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required services
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Production teams for new product launches
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workplace following 5S and cGMP/GCP policies
• Document actions and update setup documentation to ensure accuracy and sustainability

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 3-5 years of related experience or training
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and complex instructions
• Strong reasoning skills to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am)
• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year degree or professional certification
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Ability to effectively present technical information to various stakeholders
