About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment on packaging lines to ensure high-quality production.
- Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.
- Use hand and power tools to perform specific maintenance duties and follow work orders.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain efficient line rates and support site business goals.
- Execute Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) activities and participate in OPEX initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized workplace by adhering to 5S standards and cGMP/GCP policies.
- Document maintenance actions and provide feedback during daily directional setting meetings.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret various types of instructions and equipment manuals.
- High reasoning skills to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations.
- Professional proficiency in verbal communication and reading standard written materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical School degree or equivalent training.
- Previous experience working with packaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
