Maintenance Mechanic 2

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment on packaging lines to ensure high-quality production.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.
• Use hand and power tools to perform specific maintenance duties and follow work orders.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain efficient line rates and support site business goals.
• Execute Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) activities and participate in OPEX initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized workplace by adhering to 5S standards and cGMP/GCP policies.
• Document maintenance actions and provide feedback during daily directional setting meetings.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret various types of instructions and equipment manuals.
• High reasoning skills to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations.
• Professional proficiency in verbal communication and reading standard written materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical School degree or equivalent training.
• Previous experience working with packaging equipment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
