About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair packaging equipment to ensure high-quality production and operational efficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, running adjustments, and Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) activities.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment problems by analyzing data and interpreting information from various sources.
- Collaborate with other departments and maintenance mechanics to maintain efficient line rates.
- Use hand and power tools to perform specific maintenance duties and follow all work practices and procedures.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required services.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workplace by adhering to 5S standards and cGMP/GCP policies.
- Document actions, update setup documentation, and participate in daily directional setting meetings.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mathematical and computer proficiency, including the ability to operate common computer programs.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and various types of standard instructions.
- High reasoning skills to solve practical problems and manage concrete variables in non-standardized situations.
- Professional proficiency in verbal communication to participate effectively in team conversations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical School degree or equivalent training.
- Previous experience working with packaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
