Maintenance Mechanic 2

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair packaging equipment to ensure high-quality production and operational efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, running adjustments, and Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) activities.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment problems by analyzing data and interpreting information from various sources.
• Collaborate with other departments and maintenance mechanics to maintain efficient line rates.
• Use hand and power tools to perform specific maintenance duties and follow all work practices and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required services.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workplace by adhering to 5S standards and cGMP/GCP policies.
• Document actions, update setup documentation, and participate in daily directional setting meetings.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematical and computer proficiency, including the ability to operate common computer programs.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and various types of standard instructions.
• High reasoning skills to solve practical problems and manage concrete variables in non-standardized situations.
• Professional proficiency in verbal communication to participate effectively in team conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical School degree or equivalent training.
• Previous experience working with packaging equipment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
