About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform semi-skilled maintenance, repair, remodeling, alteration, and construction work on buildings, facilities, and equipment
- Conduct general maintenance on both interior and exterior building systems
- Collaborate with other trades and crafts to support new construction and remodeling projects
- Support campus operations through effective stewardship of facilities and utilities
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work (or equivalent education/experience)
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet departmental driving standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, Painting, or HVAC/Control repair fields
