Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of maintenance staff including delegation of work orders and time management
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders
• Manage HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests
• Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members
• Participate in interviewing and selection of new team members
• Provide written monthly energy management recommendations
• Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates and bids
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering
• 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, appliances, water heaters, chillers, boilers, and HVAC
• Proven track record managing preventative maintenance programs and capital projects
• Ability to participate in emergency on-call rotations
• Excellent customer service and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA Universal Certification
