Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Maintenance staff members, including delegation of work orders and time management
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders
• Management of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests
• Mentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff members
• Involvement in interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members
• Providing written monthly energy management recommendations
• Identifying capital improvements and obtaining required estimates/bids
• Assisting in budget preparation for maintenance expenses

Requirements

• 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC
• EPA Universal Certification or equivalent HVAC knowledge
• Proven track record managing preventative maintenance programs and capital projects
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
