Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Maintenance staff including delegation of work orders and special projects
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders
• Manage HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests
• Mentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff members
• Involvement with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members
• Provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building
• Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bids
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses

Requirements

• 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance/engineering
• HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is required
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and HVAC
• Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and capital projects
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Ability to create, mentor, and train a team
