Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and policies to ensure facility reliability.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of all manufacturing and facility machinery.
• Manage departmental resources, including budget preparation, purchasing, and monitoring expenditures.
• Champion equipment reliability through preventative and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS tools.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including setting work assignments, conducting training, and reviewing performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, conducting inspections and investigating accidents or injuries.
• Coordinate with vendors and other departments regarding equipment maintenance and prioritization.
• Monitor tool and part inventories to ensure adequate working conditions and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or facility management is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and service manuals.
• Proficiency in preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform intermediate to advanced mathematical calculations for problem-solving.
