About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct maintenance operations to ensure prompt and accurate response to equipment and facility needs
  • Manage the site's Reliability Excellence Program and maintain annual maintenance operating budgets
  • Lead maintenance employees through training, development, performance management, and corrective action
  • Review and analyze production, quality, and Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) data to resolve production issues
  • Promote safety through active participation in company safety policies and programs
  • Develop and implement capital projects and participate in Continuous Improvement projects
  • Conduct regular communication meetings with the workforce to enhance Operational Excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least four years of maintenance work experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration
  • Industrial, electrical, or welding certifications/licenses
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, or Lean Manufacturing
  • Prior experience managing engineering or maintenance projects in an industrial environment
  • Experience using timekeeping or maintenance management systems
