About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct maintenance operations to ensure prompt and accurate response to equipment and facility needs
- Manage the site's Reliability Excellence Program and maintain annual maintenance operating budgets
- Lead maintenance employees through training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Review and analyze production, quality, and Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) data to resolve production issues
- Promote safety through active participation in company safety policies and programs
- Develop and implement capital projects and participate in Continuous Improvement projects
- Conduct regular communication meetings with the workforce to enhance Operational Excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or at least four years of maintenance work experience
- Minimum of one year of experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration
- Industrial, electrical, or welding certifications/licenses
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, or Lean Manufacturing
- Prior experience managing engineering or maintenance projects in an industrial environment
- Experience using timekeeping or maintenance management systems
