Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the maintenance department, managing approximately 50-60 employees.
• Ensure the operational readiness and availability of 200 processing machines and assembly systems.
• Plan, control, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, and repair work.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical processes by analyzing root causes and implementing efficiency measures.
• Manage budget planning, cost control, and investment planning for plant modernization and spare parts management.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and production planning departments.
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the maintenance team through qualification measures.
• Communicate with external service providers and suppliers regarding maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience and strong organizational skills.
• Technical degree (HTL/FH/TU) with a focus on Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Multi-year professional experience in maintenance or industrial engineering.
• A proactive mindset with a desire to design, change, and modernize processes.
• Experience in the industrial sector, preferably within the automotive industry or with an OEM, is an advantage.
