Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and facilities to support 24/7 operations
• Supervise and lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team using best-in-class standards for performance and safety
• Collaborate with engineering, lab, and operations teams to ensure maintainable product and project designs
• Train staff on maintenance processes, including preventive/corrective maintenance, inventory control, and shutdown procedures
• Track and report equipment and team performance using industry metrics such as availability and lifecycle analysis
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for long-term system optimization
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance with significant leadership experience
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical (up to 600V), and fluid/gas/hydraulic systems
• Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop maintenance teams
• Ability to routinely lift at least 50 lbs
• Experience with lean projects and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Chemical manufacturing experience and understanding of chemical processes
• Expertise in rotating equipment, HVAC, welding, or abatement systems
• Experience with predictive maintenance tools or SAP-PM
