About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance and project engineering teams to achieve performance targets and close operational gaps.
- Serve as the maintenance program leader, owning performance results and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage equipment setup, preventive maintenance plans, and contractor safety compliance.
- Plan and execute capital projects, including design, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams and manage spare parts inventory.
- Oversee daily maintenance, boiler operations, utilities management, and wastewater systems.
- Drive cost efficiencies in maintenance, energy usage, and utility performance.
- Coach and develop team members while standardizing maintenance practices.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical).
- 3 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of utility and wastewater systems, including relevant government regulations.
- Experience with capital deployment, construction techniques, and project management.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and a strong sense of urgency.
