Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the fruit processing line
• Guarantee the availability and reliability of critical equipment to meet production and quality levels
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF and MTTR to increase asset reliability
• Coordinate the technical team, assign tasks, provide training, and promote safe work practices
• Control inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials, and manage purchases when applicable
• Collaborate with Quality and Production areas to ensure food safety and product quality
• Develop and update procedures, formats, and records related to maintenance
• Participate in failure investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in maintenance supervision within fruit processing or the food industry
• Experience managing electromechanical teams and preventive/corrective maintenance
• Experience managing a team of 16 people
• Knowledge of P&L and financial indicators
• Proficiency in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in processing lines
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and read technical manuals
• Knowledge of industrial safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety
• Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), intermediate Excel, and Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation
• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
