Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of a team of direct reports
• Analyze maintenance work orders and assign personnel to complete them
• Design and implement preventative maintenance systems
• Support operational departments by maintaining equipment and resolving mechanical malfunctions
• Direct and assist in the installation of new equipment
• Plan and execute projects in conjunction with the Plant Manager
• Hire, train, supervise, and provide coaching for all maintenance employees
• Oversee supply purchasing and maintain inventories for the maintenance department
• Evaluate service agreements and contracts

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance experience within the Food, Beverage, or Dairy industry
• 5+ years as a maintenance mechanic specific to electrical, buildings, and grounds
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of two years of college/vocational training in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Experience with PLCs
• Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration
