Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
• Ensure availability and reliability of critical equipment such as rolling mills, furnaces, and conveyors
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of major breakdowns and implement corrective actions
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and statutory regulations
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and optimize costs
• Plan and execute annual and quarterly plant shutdowns
• Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Implement TPM, Lean, and 5S improvement initiatives

Requirements

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 15–18 years of experience in steel, mining, cement, or power industries
• Expertise in fixed plant maintenance
• Hands-on exposure to fabrication, welding, and industrial systems
• Strong problem-solving and RCA skills
• Data-driven approach using MTBF, MTTR, and OEE
