Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate plant maintenance strategy and tactics
• Monitor and enforce quality, safety standards, policies, procedures and directives
• Oversee and direct departmental budget
• Monitor and enforce associate compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, etc.)
• Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload and performance results
• Implement and develop maintenance asset management processes
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through mentoring and training
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and develop sustainable solutions for PLC controlled equipment, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Assist in preparing plant capital plans and cost estimates
• Coordinate installation, startup, and equipment shutdowns

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience managing budgets and manpower forecasts
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance, material handling, and facilities upkeep
• Experience with Lean, TPM, or Toyota Production System (TPS)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to be approved for a cannabis agent badge

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
