Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of all company machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Manage maintenance personnel in a safe, effective, and efficient manner following company policies and legislative requirements.
• Set priorities for preventive maintenance work orders, requisitions, and scheduled work.
• Oversee building maintenance requirements for new construction, renovations, or system updates.
• Coordinate and monitor contractor activities for various facility projects.
• Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, and inventory for the maintenance department.
• Prepare monthly reports, budgets, and capital plans in consultation with the unit maintenance committee.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical systems such as air handling and refrigeration.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Requirements

• Community College degree in a related field or five years of mechanical/electrical experience as a tradesman.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
