About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative maintenance services and inspections of equipment
- Coordinate and supervise the performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel
- Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Manage employee training, development, and workplace safety
- Develop and implement service standards and procedures
- Conduct periodic team appraisals and identify areas for improvement
- Create and present regular reports to senior management
- Instruct customers on equipment operation, care, and maintenance
- Inspect rental equipment upon return for damage
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of self-propelled platforms and lifts
- Three years of maintenance and service experience preferred
- Knowledge of work planning, scheduling, and supervisory activities
- Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements
- Computer literacy and reporting experience
- Inventory management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like bending, squatting, and crouching
