About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preventative maintenance services and inspections of equipment
  • Coordinate and supervise the performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel
  • Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Manage employee training, development, and workplace safety
  • Develop and implement service standards and procedures
  • Conduct periodic team appraisals and identify areas for improvement
  • Create and present regular reports to senior management
  • Instruct customers on equipment operation, care, and maintenance
  • Inspect rental equipment upon return for damage

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of self-propelled platforms and lifts
  • Three years of maintenance and service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of work planning, scheduling, and supervisory activities
  • Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements
  • Computer literacy and reporting experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like bending, squatting, and crouching
