About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the site maintenance and reliability program for the distribution center, ensuring safe and cost-effective operation of automated and non-automated assets.
- Own work management processes including PM/CM planning, scheduling, work order management, and parts stewardship.
- Track and act on key maintenance KPIs such as uptime, PM compliance, MTTR/MTBF, and cost drivers.
- Maintain CMMS data integrity, including asset hierarchy, failure codes, and downtime tracking.
- Manage vendors, OEMs, and contractors to ensure performance, safety compliance, and effective issue resolution.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team, building technical capability across automation and MHE.
- Oversee critical incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action implementation.
- Manage facility and building systems, including HVAC, fire/life safety, and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to maintenance safety and regulatory standards, including LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering technology, industrial maintenance) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of maintenance leadership experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong working knowledge of automated MHE and industrial systems (conveyors, sorters, robotics, etc.).
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms for work order management and reporting.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor spend.
- Deep knowledge of safety standards including LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large, highly automated distribution center environments.
- Exposure to reliability methodologies such as RCM, TPM, or Six Sigma.
- Experience implementing enterprise-level maintenance standards or CMMS standardization.
