About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise planned corrective maintenance work for electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Support the evaluation, optimization, and continuous improvement of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Programs.
- Oversee MRO inventory management, ensuring the availability of critical spare parts and accurate documentation within the CMMS.
- Lead daily meetings with the maintenance team to review priorities, safety topics, and operational updates.
- Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage engineering projects and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations, technical specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning by forecasting maintenance requirements and assisting with budget preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in Maintenance Supervision.
- 2–4 years of experience using CMMS SAP.
- 2–4 years of experience in designing and implementing Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards.
- Ability to work alternating shifts and travel locally or internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering Management or an equivalent field.
- Professional Engineer License.
- 1–2 years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, or OSHA 18000.
