About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the maintenance strategy for the rolling mill unit
- Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities
- Diagnose failures and propose sustainable solutions
- Monitor performance indicators such as equipment availability and downtime reduction
- Optimize spare parts and consumables usage
- Manage maintenance teams including mechanical, electrical, and fabrication workshop staff
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using PDCA cycles
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and HSE requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry
- Experience in a steel plant is highly appreciated
- Knowledge of heavy mechanics, hydraulics, industrial electricity, and automation
- Proficiency in CMMS systems (COSWIN preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams in French and English
- Experience in 24/7 continuous industrial operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Experience with COSWIN CMMS
- Background in continuous industrial operations
