Maintenance Machine Repair

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on all facility equipment, including building and grounds maintenance
• Install new machinery and assist with fabrication of dies, die sets, and similar devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and work instructions
• Operate cranes and hi-lo equipment to complete tasks
• Manage parts procurement by directing purchasing on necessary components and services
• Maintain safety standards by following lock out/tag out and confined space procedures
• Work independently to complete repairs without step-by-step direction

Requirements

• Journeyman card or at least 8 years of documented experience in skilled maintenance
• High school diploma
• Proficiency in welding and minor industrial electrical work
• Valid crane operation and hi-lo operation licenses
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights up to 62 feet
• Ability to work any shift, including 6-7 days per week
• Must possess your own basic tools and toolbox

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational education relating to a journeyman’s card
