Maintenance Licensed - Millwright

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on filling machines, pasteurizing systems, packaging systems, and conveyors.
• Execute equipment modifications and complete full equipment overhauls as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdown situations to maintain production efficiency.
• Manage stock room inventory and submit order requests for parts required for maintenance.
• Document all work and downtime using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Comply with all GMP, OH&S, WSIB, and corporate quality and sanitation requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other trades groups to complete project assignments and provide training to plant staff.

Requirements

• 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate of Qualification.
• Skilled Trades Ontario Red Seal Certification or Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the food industry (preferably dairy) or with high-speed process/packaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Extensive experience with electromechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding experience, specifically TIG and Arc welding.
• Strong fabrication abilities.
