About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead Maintenance Supervisors to ensure process continuity.
- Define investment and maintenance policies for installations and equipment in compliance with HSE regulations.
- Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring quality, cost, and safety standards.
- Support Engineering in researching new technologies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage technical maintenance documentation, including specifications, procedures, and drawings.
- Select and manage third-party providers, ensuring technical reliability and contract adherence.
- Oversee energy management plans to optimize facility usage and minimize consumption.
- Conduct systematic analysis of critical assets to improve availability and reliability.
- Manage area budgets and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role (e.g., Maintenance Supervisor or Superintendent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel manufacturing (plate or pipe) or a similar industrial environment.
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical drawings/schematics.
- Strong knowledge of industrial bearings, gearboxes, and lubrication.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with SAP.
- Experience in Project Management.
