About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead Maintenance Supervisors to ensure process continuity.
  • Define investment and maintenance policies for installations and equipment in compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring quality, cost, and safety standards.
  • Support Engineering in researching new technologies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage technical maintenance documentation, including specifications, procedures, and drawings.
  • Select and manage third-party providers, ensuring technical reliability and contract adherence.
  • Oversee energy management plans to optimize facility usage and minimize consumption.
  • Conduct systematic analysis of critical assets to improve availability and reliability.
  • Manage area budgets and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role (e.g., Maintenance Supervisor or Superintendent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in steel manufacturing (plate or pipe) or a similar industrial environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical drawings/schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial bearings, gearboxes, and lubrication.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with SAP.
  • Experience in Project Management.
