Maintenance Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive plant reliability by implementing maintenance excellence processes and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Lead and develop the maintenance department personnel, ensuring they possess the necessary technical skills and proficiency.
• Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis (FMEA, 5Why’s, etc.) to identify countermeasures and prevent equipment failure recurrence.
• Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis techniques and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and safety leadership.
• Ability to work primarily 1st shift with flexibility for overtime and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Background in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Reliability-centered maintenance.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
