About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive plant reliability by implementing maintenance excellence processes and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Lead and develop the maintenance department personnel, ensuring they possess the necessary technical skills and proficiency.
- Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (FMEA, 5Why’s, etc.) to identify countermeasures and prevent equipment failure recurrence.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement and 5S standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis techniques and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and safety leadership.
- Ability to work primarily 1st shift with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Background in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Reliability-centered maintenance.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
