About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair industrial machinery including conveyors, pumps, compressors, blowers, and gearboxes.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and performance testing to ensure compliance with reliability, safety, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain AC/DC motors, variable-frequency drives, sensors, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Use precision tools and test instruments to verify system integrity and diagnose performance issues.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with training, scheduling, and oversight of maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain technical records, inspection reports, and spare-parts inventory while following LOTO procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production lines.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience installing and calibrating motors, actuators, PLCs, and variable-frequency drives.
  • Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electromechanical and material-handling systems.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating maintenance personnel and work assignments.
