Maintenance Laboratory Technician (Electronic)

Responsibilities

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic components, equipment, and systems including machine tool numerical controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions using standard test equipment
• Adjust or replace defective circuitry or electronic components using hand tools or soldering irons
• Analyze test results to evaluate performance and determine necessary adjustments
• Work with manufacturers or field representatives to procure replacement parts
• Maintain up-to-date electronics knowledge and stay current with industry trends

Requirements

• Community College Diploma in Electronics Technology
• 1-3 years of experience in machine controls and PLC programming
• Proven experience with automation and robotic troubleshooting/programming
• Experience with CADKey and PLC programming
• Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic controls, sensors, electrical hardware, and control wiring circuitry
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply mathematical methods to technical issues
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Plating or Rectifiers
