Maintenance Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the replenishment of cost-effective, quality materials to support manufacturing and maintain target stock levels
• Manage the ordering process for all SAP and non-SAP parts, including identifying vendors, negotiating pricing, and creating purchase orders
• Receive incoming materials, perform visual inspections, verify documentation, and update SAP inventory records
• Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors to research and order non-stock items for specific projects
• Maintain accurate inventory levels for maintenance parts and ERSA materials through regular tracking and physical inventories
• Generate purchase orders and track costs to assist management with budget requirements and financial reporting
• Manage the vending machine and other non-inventory items in coordination with preferred vendors
• Stage incoming parts from work orders to ensure the completion of ongoing maintenance jobs
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts room

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management or a maintenance support role
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs repeatedly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
