About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the replenishment of cost-effective, quality materials to support manufacturing and maintain target stock levels
  • Manage the ordering process for all SAP and non-SAP parts, including weekly requisition reviews and vendor contact for pricing
  • Receive incoming materials, perform visual inspections, verify documentation, and update SAP inventory records
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors on non-stock items, including research and competitive pricing
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for parts and ERSA materials, performing physical inventories as required
  • Generate purchase orders, determine proper GL codes, and track costs for budget reporting in coordination with Finance
  • Manage the vending machine and other non-inventory items in coordination with preferred vendors
  • Stage incoming parts from work orders to support ongoing maintenance jobs
  • Maintain a clean and orderly parts room

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management or a maintenance support role
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems
