Maintenance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with local and industry regulations
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize repair tasks
• Use maintenance management software to track service orders and equipment history
• Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures to increase efficiency
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Travel to various regional locations as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance inspection
• Deep knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment
• Experience with CMMS software
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is highly desirable
