Maintenance Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial support and leadership to assigned personnel
• Manage work assignments and direct tasks to achieve production objectives
• Implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment uptime (MTTR, MTBF)
• Drive Safety Always Culture, 5S workplace, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Work with Engineers to develop standardized work procedures and documentation
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback
• Identify skill gaps in the maintenance team and provide coaching and training
• Execute HR policies including timekeeping, discipline, and performance management
• Use KPIs for continuous improvement and report data to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of mechanical machines, tools, and maintenance methodologies
• Ability to move frequently throughout the manufacturing plant and production areas
• Ability to operate computers and office productivity machinery

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial) or business degree
• Previous leadership experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry
• Experience with predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance
