Maintenance Fitter

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the plant
• Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs
• Support installation work and equipment improvements
• Drive plant reliability, uptime and continuous improvement
• Work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime
• Coordinate specialist maintenance activities with contractors
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience in fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water or industrial environments
• Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles
• Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
