Maintenance & Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including printing presses and finishing machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and basic electrical schematics
• Utilize maintenance software to complete work orders and document repairs
• Perform general building maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Assist with maintenance of facility systems such as air compressors and dock equipment

Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, automotive, or military maintenance experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school, vocational training, or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics
• Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment
• Relevant technical certifications
