Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance for production equipment, utilities, and facilities
• Own equipment reliability strategy and drive uptime for manufacturing operations
• Establish and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Serve as site owner for UpKeep CMMS, managing assets, work orders, and spare parts
• Oversee plant facilities, building systems, and utility infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, FDA, SQF, and HACCP requirements
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractor work, and spare parts inventory
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and root cause analysis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing
• Experience leading technicians, mechanics, or facilities teams
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and CMMS (preferably UpKeep)
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and spare parts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification in engineering or related field
• Experience in consumer products, personal care, food, or beverage industries
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA standards
• Experience in startup or rapidly growing manufacturing environments
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
