Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering, process engineering, and maintenance functions to ensure optimal equipment and system performance.
• Lead and develop a diverse team including Maintenance Technicians, Process Engineers, and Controls Engineers.
• Develop and manage maintenance and capital budgets, including forecasting for spare parts and outside vendor support.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts such as OEE and downtime reduction.
• Oversee facility engineering, construction projects, machinery upgrades, and ergonomic workplace layouts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations regarding industry safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with local production teams and leadership to define vision and implement best demonstrated practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 10 years of direct engineering or maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Proficiency in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts.
• Ability to act as a hands-on leader, spending significant time on the production floor.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally occasionally.
