About the role
Responsibilities
- Organize and monitor planned maintenance processes, including inspections, lubrication, and preventive/predictive tasks.
- Manage unplanned maintenance processes to ensure rapid diagnostic, repair, and restart of production machinery.
- Implement local maintenance strategies and support TPM implementation and SAP-PM processes.
- Plan and monitor the area maintenance budget, including spare parts and technical component stock levels.
- Direct, administer, and develop members of the area maintenance team.
- Lead machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects.
- Promote and enforce Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) standards and procedures.
- Initiate and manage contracts with external suppliers for outsourced maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of controls, drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with machine improvements, refurbishments, or installation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Experience working with external suppliers and project management.
- Knowledge of tire manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
