Maintenance Engineering Area Lead

Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor planned maintenance processes, including inspections, lubrication, and preventive/predictive tasks.
• Manage unplanned maintenance processes to ensure rapid diagnostic, repair, and restart of production machinery.
• Implement local maintenance strategies and support TPM implementation and SAP-PM processes.
• Plan and monitor the area maintenance budget, including spare parts and technical component stock levels.
• Direct, administer, and develop members of the area maintenance team.
• Lead machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects.
• Promote and enforce Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) standards and procedures.
• Initiate and manage contracts with external suppliers for outsourced maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of controls, drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with machine improvements, refurbishments, or installation projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Experience working with external suppliers and project management.
• Knowledge of tire manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
