Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, restaurant, pool, and grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems
• Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Complete routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
• Set up, move, and arrange furniture, fixtures, and equipment for events, photoshoots, and marketing initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders
• Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards to ensure property compliance

Requirements

• Experience in hotel, resort, apartment, commercial building, or general facilities maintenance
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair work
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including desert heat

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
