Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical drilling equipment including engines, hydraulic motors, pumps, and compressors
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and manage lubrication schedules
• Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical malfunctions and failures
• Read and analyze mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Supervise crew safety and ensure compliance with HSE standards and LO/TO procedures
• Manage mechanical inventories, spare parts, and work orders
• Operate metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders

Requirements

• High School diploma
• At least 5 years of work experience as a mechanic, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
• Ability to identify and understand various rig equipment functionality
• Mathematical skills required for mechanic certification
• Ability to obtain appropriate offshore or onshore certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in handling CNC/Lathe machine maintenance
