Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and improve MTTR and MTBF.
• Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and utility systems including air compressors, chillers, and power systems.
• Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Manage spare parts inventory and optimize vendor sourcing to reduce costs.
• Utilize CMMS tools like SAP or API for maintenance planning, work order management, and data reporting.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards including IATF 16949 and ISO certifications.

Requirements

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in machine tool maintenance or the manufacturing industry.
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
• Proficiency in CMMS tools such as SAP or API.
• Willingness to work in shift operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with energy management systems and ISO 50001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
