About the role

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets using Maximo
  • Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements
  • Identify areas for improvement across the site to enhance efficiency
  • Support new installations and engineering projects
  • Deliver all activities in accordance with GMP standards

Requirements

  • HNC or equivalent in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering
  • High-level mechanical knowledge within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Competency in Welding, Machine Lathe, and Milling
  • Working knowledge of gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Electrical knowledge of control panels, automation, and robotics
  • Understanding of electrical safety, CCT, and controllers
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
