Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
• Provide technical expertise to plant personnel regarding troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment design evaluation.
• Ensure critical equipment repairs include engineering input on clearances, tolerances, materials, and welding procedures.
• Provide technical support for the specification, identification, and purchasing of required parts.
• Contribute maintainability input to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and support spare parts reviews.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineers to develop facility and equipment maintenance strategies.
• Support the development of maintenance procedures and operating procedures for plant operations.
• Work closely with Maintenance Technologists to ensure quality repairs and provide training to crafts and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of Maintenance Engineering experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP within a Maintenance Department.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
