Maintenance Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete general maintenance requests for guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, and exterior property areas
• Perform tasks including taping, spackling, and painting walls
• Ensure all work orders are tracked, prioritized, and completed promptly
• Conduct regular safety inspections and monitor fire detection systems
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and GHS safety standards
• Interact professionally with guests to resolve room-related maintenance calls
• Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance projects during the off-season

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in mechanical fields such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing
