Maintenance Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance for site operations equipment, fixtures, and tools to ensure full compliance with manufacturing needs.
• Execute and manage turnkey projects related to operations equipment and tooling.
• Interface with internal and external clients regarding project scope, execution, and maintenance requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement of maintenance systems to achieve outstanding operational and regulatory results.
• Report performance results using established metrics to meet management and business expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Engineering).
• 0-3 years of experience in similar maintenance or engineering roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills regarding equipment and fixtures.
• Intermediate command of the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous participation in the Abbott internship program.
• Technician status with 85% of a STEM career bachelor's degree completed.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO guidelines.
