Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain video, audio, and television broadcast equipment, including data networks and RF transmission systems
• Troubleshoot and repair technical faults quickly to minimize loss of service
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, install, test, and document new systems
• Manage and maintain data networks in compliance with Information Security policies
• Perform software and hardware updates, tests, and installations as required
• Provide technical assistance and training to operating staff on day-to-day workflows
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance to support live and production events

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of broadcast and network systems
• Associate degree in Engineering/IT or at least 4 years of equivalent industry experience
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet and work in tight spaces
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours and fully onsite at the studio or transmitter

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF and fiber optic workflows
• Prior experience in television or radio broadcast engineering
