Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and directional support in planning and scheduling for both shutdowns and routine maintenance.
• Define work methods, activities, resources, materials, and logical sequences required to execute maintenance tasks.
• Oversee and ensure QA/QC for work delivered by third-party contractors.
• Communicate effectively across various levels of the workforce, including contractors, working teams, and asset leadership.
• Mentor and develop early-career engineers and contractor teams on maintenance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling through KPI monitoring and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Lead maintenance data analysis to create solutions that improve overall asset efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university (CGPA 7.0 or above).
• Minimum 6 years of work experience in the oil and gas production or operations industry.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance or shutdown planning and scheduling.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Proficiency in CMMS tools such as SAP PM/MM or Maximo.
• Proficiency in scheduling software including Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas industry equipment and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel internationally to company production units as needed.
